Oct. 2nd Homework

HOMEWORK HELP – Mr. Kertes offers optional homework help every day from 8:10 AM to 8:40 AM. (Time is also provided during class for students to complete homework.)

The following homework is due next Wednesday.

  • Short Reading: “Riding the Board”
  • Reading Reflection: “The Scholarship Jacket” by Martha Salinas
  • Math Practice: “Bar Graph” & “Distributive Property of Multiplication”
  • Learning Journal (done in class)

If work is late, students are required to attend Study Hall to complete homework (during the first twenty minutes of lunch period). Homework is marked “complete” or “incomplete”. At least 50% of homework must be complete to be able to achieve a passing mark for the term (C-). At least 90% of homework must be complete to be able to be achieve a C or C+ grade for the term. To be able to achieve a term grade of B or A requires completing 100% of homework for that term.
