Math Score Progress Reports

We just emailed updated progress reports to all students for Math.

There is still time this week to raise your scores. Any work on IXL through the end of today (May 1st) will count for this week’s scores.

Starting next week, math progress reports will be emailed to all students every Monday at 11 AM.

Here is how your IXL math marks are determined:

  • Work on IXL for at least 20 minutes a day (100 minutes a week)*
  • Try to work at grade level (grade 6 or higher)
  • Try to do the assigned skills for the week (posted on the top right corner of IXL)
  • Half of your IXL mark is based on the number of minutes you work
  • Half of your IXL mark is based on the level of your work (grade 6 or higher = 100%, minus 15 points for every grade level lower than 6)

You are also graded on your concept/skill level. This is based on your participation in Zoom sessions*.

* Note: Some students are on home school plans. These students work out of math packets and are not marked based on IXL.
